How To Prosper In Christ

This day I want to share with everyone what I learned yesterday.

Lets all head too the book of Psalms

Psalm 34:9-10 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.

10 The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.

The fear of the Lord brings prosperity to us believers in Christ Jesus. I looked up the words (for there is no want) in verse 9 in the Hebrew strongs dictionary.

The words (for there is no want) in hebrew H4270. ( H stands for hebrew and the numbers after it is where you can find it in the strongs dictionary) It means Makhsore: need, poverty, thing needed, lack , want, deficiency.

When we re read this verse ( It can be read like this: For there is no poverty, no need , no lack , no thing needed, no deficiency for those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.

Now the word fear to reverence. The fear of the Lord brings prosperity to our souls and literally as well to our finances. To reverence the Lord will be a key player to having a future full of Gods abundance.

Imagine not needing anything, I am not only talking about material things but also always having a satisfaction in our souls. Our families happy full of Gods joy which is our strength. The joy of the Lord is our strength according to scripture and this can be a reality in our christian lives.

But where do we start by fearing the Lord and seeking Him. By seeking God like it says in verse 10. We won’t lack any beneficial thing. Seeking God brings us into the abundant life that is in Christ Jesus our Savior.

The word seek in the strongs dictionary. H1875 Darash: means to resort to, seek, seek with care, enquire , to consult, to enquire of , to seek a deity (God) in prayer and worship.

This really impacted me because when we seek pray we seek God like we all know. When we worship we are seeking God as well. Because worship is talking to God but in a song in other words. We just adore Him and tell Him how much we Love Him and appreciate Him through our words in a song.

At times we also sing to Him our prayers. Like a good example of a prayer worship song is the song let it rain open the flood gates of heaven. That’s prayer sang in worship.

I discovered this yesterday rejoice when your worshiping God because we are seeking Him as well.

In conclusion: The fear of the Lord plus seeking God through worship and prayer brings us into the abundant living Jesus Christ promised us. It brings us into a position where God can bless us abundantly and supply all our needs and we will lack nothing. Amen

Love you all
